Basically the same recipe as Food & Wine’s Dark-Chocolate Bark with Walnuts and Dried Cherries
My version of the the DoubleTree Hotel Chocolate Chip Cookies that I found at Top Secret Recipes.
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Mix… 1/4 cup honey (my original recipe called for vegetable oil) 1 3/4 cups unsalted butter (3 1/2 sticks) 2 cups dark brown sugar (packed) 1 cup sugar 2 teaspoons vanilla (pure) 2 large eggs (slightly beaten) Sift…
Mix (I use a blender) 1/2 cup fresh lime juice 1/2 cup olive oil 3 tablespoons grated fresh ginger 3 tablespoons chopped onion 2 cloves garlic (minced) 2 tablespoons honey 2 tablesppons soy sauce 1 teaspoon sesame oil Good for 2 to 3 pounds of pork.
Heat large pan on medium-high. Add 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil.
Add 1 pound red potatoes (halved or quartered) to large pot of boiling salted water.
Cook and drain 1/2 pound spicy pork sausage Layer the following in buttered 8x8x2” square baking dish
Mix the following: 1 Tablespoon ground cumin 1 teaspoon oregano 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
