Baked Macaroni & Cheese #1

Preheat oven 350 degrees.
Cook and drain
- 1/4 pound hot pork sausage
Cook in boiling salted water
- 1/2 pound macaroni [ 1/2 box ]
In sauce pan over medium
- 1/4 pound unsalted butter (melt)
- 2 tablespoons flour
Add to sauce pan and stir until cheese has been melted
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 1/4 cup minced onion
- 1/4 cup parsley that has been chopped with 2 cloves garlic
- previously cooked sausage
- 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese (grated)
- 2 cups colby-jack cheese (grated)
Add and continue stirring for about 2 minutes
- 2 cups milk
Combine cheese sauce with macaroni and place in baking dish. Top with black pepper, Parmesan cheese, and bread crumbs (optional). Bake for approximately 45 minutes.
