  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 pound mild or hot pork sausage
  • 1 medium onion (chopped)
  • 2 ribs celery (diced)

  • 28 ounces (large can) crushed tomatoes
  • 4 ounces green chiles
  • 30 ounces (2 x 15 oz. cans) black beans
  • 32 ounces (2 x 16 oz. cans) Bush’s Mild Chili Beans
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 2 - 3 cups water

Cook on “low” for 4 hours then mix in…

  • 6 ounce can tomato paste

Best if put in fridge overnight after cooking. Serve with cornbread or grilled cheese sandwiches.
