Brown in skillet over medium heat…
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 1 white onion, chopped
- 1 green pepper, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, chopped
- 2 Serrano peppers, diced
Drain grease and combine browned meat mixture with the following…
- 2 cans (15 ounce) chili beans
- 1 can (14.5 ounce) diced tomatoes
- 1 can (6 ounce) tomato paste
- 1 cup water
- 1 tablespoon chili power
- 1 tablespoon oregano
- 1 - 2 teaspoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Cook on “low” for approximately 4-6 hours; always better after a night in the fridge; great for chili mac!
